At bamboo Ron’s we love bamboo!
Bamboo will add a tropical feel to your yard and patio area. There are a multitude of Bamboo to choose from, renewable varieties that are only a few inches tall that work extremely well as ground covers or yard areas that you want to keep an open feel to. Timber Bamboo, on the other hand can grow up to 40 ft tall depending on species, soil and climatic conditions.
At Bambooron’s we grow temperate bamboo which is a running type bamboo and we are located (USDA zone 7) all of the bamboo varieties we grow will survive freezing conditions with little to no above ground damage. We are a small bamboo farm located in south central Oklahoma specializing in a small number of temperate bamboo varieties.
Bamboo a giant grass is a renewable fast growing resource that will continue to produce sticks, poles, stems and trees. Called many things but best know as culms as when referring to the stems of grasses.
